  • An ardent sports person at heart, Yuvraj was actually more interested in roller skating and wanted to take it up professionally as a teenager. However, owing to his father’s persistence, who himself was also a cricketer, Yuvraj, turned his focus on cricket and the rest is history.
  • Yuvraj never let go of his lucky number – 12, which he had printed on his jersey as well!
  • Do you know who is Yuvi’s idol? None, but the master blaster, Sachin Tendulkar.
  • Guess who was the heart of the Indian dressing rooms, keeping alive the spirit of humour in times of distress? Of course, it was our Punjabi heartthrob, Yuvraj Singh.
  • At the peak of his career in 2011, Yuvraj was diagnosed with cancer, but he fought the disease successfully to return a cancer-free man in 2012.
  • After Sachin Tendulkar, Yuvraj Singh is the only Indian to have been signed by the English county, Yorkshire.
  • Yuvraj has also worked as a voice-over artist in the Bollywood animation film, Jumbo.
